THE STORY OF THE PLACE · SURROUNDINGS
The Buzău valley,
a step away.
Wooded mountains, a clear river and quiet villages. A few views from around us.
THE BUZĂU VALLEY, FROM ABOVE
From us to Lake Siriu.
Pensiunea La Lac stands on the bank of the Buzău, in Păltineni. Upstream, the river runs through Nehoiu and climbs between the mountains to the Siriu dam and lake.

THE BUZĂU RIVER
Clear water,
white stones.
The river runs down between smooth boulders and still pools that mirror the forest. A good place for a walk along the bank, or simply for some quiet.
